Our Commitment to Guest Safety

Your health and safety are paramount to the Marcus Performing Arts Center and our policies are based on the most current guidance from the CDC and the Milwaukee Health Department. Use of masks by audience members are encouraged; however, unless otherwise required for a specific show, the Marcus Performing Arts Center has a mask-optional policy and does not require proof of COVID-19 vaccinations or proof of negative test results.

This policy may be amended based on changes to CDC and local health guidance and on the specific requirements of a touring show company. Should this be the case, any updated requirements will be detailed on the show description page and on lobby signs.

✓ Buy With Confidence – If an event is canceled, you will receive a full refund. If an event is postponed or rescheduled, you will have the option of using your tickets for the new date or may request a refund. These policies apply to all tickets purchased through our secure links or through TicketMaster. We cannot honor transactions purchased through third parties. Please beware of buying tickets from other ticketing sites.

✓ Contactless Ticketing – Touchless Mobile Ticketing
Log into your account via your mobile device to access your tickets. We recommend adding your ticket to your phone’s wallet prior to the show to avoid issues with connectivity when trying to enter the theater. Self-scan ticketing kiosks are located just past the security screening. If any issues arise please visit the Box Office window or an usher for assistance.

✓ Hand Hygiene – Hand sanitizer stations are positioned throughout the building for your convenience.

✓ HVAC Upgrade – MPAC’s Building Automation System (BAS) has been optimized to control the building’s 24-variable speed fans, monitor system filters, humidity, and outside air temperatures, and continually introduce outside air into the building. All building air is changed over every 17 minutes. A state-of-the-art needlepoint ionization system from Global Plasma Solutions has been installed to clean the air and free it of particles that could be carrying and spreading bacteria, viruses, or other airborne particles.

✓ Safe Parking – The Marcus Center Parking Structure utilizes self-payment kiosks at all gates in order to limit person-to-person contact.

✓ Sanitation – Our staff deep-cleans after every performance, including sanitation of touchable surfaces using EPA-approved cleaning agents and electrostatic disinfectants.

Health Protocol for Our Guests

Stay at home if you’re ill or symptomatic
Refunds or exchanges will be available until curtain time for guests who cannot attend a performance due to COVID-19 related issues.

Our safety protocols may change based on evolving guidelines from health and safety experts and government authorities. You will receive a notification prior to your event with any updates to these protocols.
