The Marcus Performing Arts Center held its 19th Annual BASH on May 3, bringing together 550+ community leaders to celebrate the performing arts. The evening featured themed food stations, an award presentation and program hosted by Portia Young, a special performance from Broadway star Christopher Jackson, dancing, live music, a surprise appearance from MPAC Cultural Ambassador Donald Driver, and more. BASH co-chairs Tammy Belton-Davis and Syneathia LaGrant honored the 2024 iMPACt Award Recipients: We Energies, who received the Visionary iMPACt Award, and Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, who received the Community Legacy Award. Students from Ronald Reagan High School and Riverside University High School joined Christopher onstage as guest artists during the show.
Over $325,000 was raised in support of the Marcus Performing Arts Center’s education and engagement programs through donations, sponsorships, ticket sales, and live auction.
