Doktor Kaboom: Look Out! Science is Coming!

The original Doktor Kaboom! show in which the good Doktor takes his audience on an educational tour of the modern scientific method, using humor and comedy while demonstrating spectacular applications of the physical sciences.  

Topics covered include: safety; pressure and force; simple machines; velocity; application of science to everyday life; the scientific method (hypothesis and experimentation); multiple experimentation; constant discovery of new information and data; definitions: chemical reactions, exothermic, external and chemical formula; mass; air pressure and demonstration vs. experimentation. Full of laughs, learning, and explosive experiments, Doktor Kaboom! makes science come alive in a way that will inspire curiosity and excitement.

Reservations for this show are for schools only.

  • Smaller audience size
  • Ticket per seat for each ticket holder, however, individuals are encouraged to move around the theater as needed during the production
  • Reduction of loud or jarring sounds
  • Elimination of flashing or strobe lights
  • House lights remain on during the performance
  • Audience members are free to talk or move during the show
  • Doors remain open for exiting the theater as needed
  • Designated Quiet Zones made available for audience members to take a break from the performance
  • Patrons are welcome to use sensory items such as noise-cancelling headphones or fidgets in the theater during the performance
  • Social stories made available prior to the visit that outline the experience at the theater
  • Additional restroom designated as family/companion restroom
