MSO German Requiem

It was a work Brahms labored over for a dozen years. Consoled by the psalms, the gospels, and the prophets, he set their words to his music. Music that would be his grandest - perhaps even his greatest. Eun Sun Kim leads the Milwaukee Symphony and Chorus in Brahms’s poetic settings from the Bible, A German Requiem. And our own Sonora Slocum performs Reinecke’s robust concerto for flute.
