Cantos de las Americas 2018

Cantos de las Americas is an annual concert celebration, which honors the varied cultures that are represented by K4- Grade 12 students of Milwaukee Public Schools.

This celebration will take you on a magical journey in which many of the world’s cultures harmoniously converge to the laughter, pride and joy of performing students. Several teachers, parents and school administrators work tirelessly to meticulously choreograph and practice these performances. Cantos is free and open to the public.

This event was made possible by the generous contributions of:

  • Marcus Center for the Performing Arts
  • MPS Bilingual and Multicultural Education Office
  • MPS School Social Workers
  • MPS principals, school leaders and teachers.
