COVID-19 STATEMENT FROM MARCUS PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
Marcus Performing Arts Center continues to navigate the widespread suspension of live events during this global health crisis. In accordance with statewide guidance regarding the COVID-19 virus the Marcus Center is closed to the public including all Box Office walk-up windows, administrative offices, and the Morning Glory Gallery.
If you have tickets for a cancelled performance, you will be contacted directly by your point of purchase to outline your options, which include credits, refunds, or a donation. Refunds are only available for tickets purchased directly through the Marcus Center or Broadway Across America. We are not responsible for the refund practices of secondary ticket providers or other sources.
When we are able to resume performances, we look forward to welcoming you back to the theater to enjoy the shared experience of seeing stories unfold live on stage.
We are navigating an unprecedented situation in real time, and ask for your patience.
We are pleased to continue to bring you the very best in original, handmade and finely crafted items from talented Wisconsin and regional artists!
Featuring original fine crafts = ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, photography, sculpture, wood, painting and mixed media - by more than 50 Wisconsin, regional and national artists.
Consider the Gallery your one-stop source for gift giving: birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, housewarmings and of course, something for yourself!
For those looking for original fine craft work by a Wisconsin artist, a unique gift or a handsome home furnishing, you will find beautiful choices to enhance your decor and lifestyle at the Morning Glory Gallery. Please visit us soon - new work arrives weekly!
The Gallery features more than 50 artists working in ceramics, fiber, jewelry, leather, photography, glass, sculpture, wood, painting and mixed media.
Gallery customers have come to appreciate the beauty of handmade, one-of-a-kind fine crafts and enjoy supporting local artists.
The Gallery periodically participates in Milwaukee’s popular Gallery Night and Day events (historicthirdward.org), when it showcases a different artist on each of these occasions (usually spring and fall dates only).
In addition, the Gallery is partially supported by the Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council, a statewide fine crafts organization founded in 1916.
We are always looking to represent new artists in the Morning Glory Gallery.
If you are an artist interested in showing/selling your work, please send us an e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Include 4-6 photos of your work, suggested retail prices and an artist statement, and we will respond.
The Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council usually hosts its annual Morning Glory Art Fair on the outdoor grounds of the Marcus Performing Arts Center each August. However, in 2020, the Fair has been cancelled. Shoppers can still purchase fine craft work from the same talented artists year-round inside the Gallery.
