Joining them are Nat Stokes on drums\, DJ SPS on the turntable\, and Liston Gregory on keys. DESCRIPTION:The music never stops in JOHNNY CASH – The Official Concert Experience. Produced in collaboration with the Estate of Johnny Cash\, this multimedia celebration brings songs and stories from the “Man in Black” to the stage in a way that audiences haven’t seen or heard before.  \nWith video of Johnny from episodes of The Johnny Cash TV Show projected on a screen above the stage\, a live band and singers will accompany him in perfect sync. This concert experience will showcase iconic performances from the TV show and highlight the spirit of the legend by revisiting some of his memorable words and anecdotes.  \nCash will perform some of his biggest hits\, including “Folsom Prison Blues\,” “Ring of Fire\,” and “I Walk the Line\,” and share stories of people he met along the way whose causes he championed – the working man from all walks of life. In addition to never-before-seen footage and on-screen narration by Cash’s only son\, John Carter Cash\, male and female vocalists will share vocal duties to perform even more Cash hits.

Formed by Marsalis in 2008\, the Uptown Jazz Orchestra stretches the boundaries of what is expected from big bands\, playing with an extraordinary sense of joy and fun that could only come from New Orleans.  \nFeaturing up to 18 accomplished musicians\, the Uptown Jazz Orchestra sets the global standard for celebrating jazz in its authentic musical form\, inspiring the next generation of jazz musicians and promoting a culture of diversity\, inclusion\, and accessibility in the arts.  \nMarsalis is one of the top trombonists\, composers\, and producers in jazz today. Known for his “technical excellence\, inventive mind and frequent touches of humor” (Los Angeles Times)\, he is “one of the best\, most imaginative and musical of the trombonists of his generation” (San Francisco Examiner). Marsalis has toured internationally with jazz legends such as Ray Charles\, Art Blakey\, Max Roach\, Elvin Jones\, and Slide Hampton\, as well as leading his own groups.
