This concert experience will showcase iconic performances from the TV show and highlight the spirit of the legend by revisiting some of his memorable words and anecdotes.  \nCash will perform some of his biggest hits\, including “Folsom Prison Blues\,” “Ring of Fire\,” and “I Walk the Line\,” and share stories of people he met along the way whose causes he championed – the working man from all walks of life. In addition to never-before-seen footage and on-screen narration by Cash’s only son\, John Carter Cash\, male and female vocalists will share vocal duties to perform even more Cash hits.

There are no spots left at this time. \nThe Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute Regional Milwaukee Office is celebrating 10 years of ‘Breaking the Silence’ events by presenting Mama’s Girls\, a play spotlighting family caregivers by the award-winning playwright Garrett Davis. Mama’s Girls is the latest stage production that addresses the struggles and hardships of caregiving for a loved one with Alzheimer’s and other related dementias. \nThis production is an engaging way to provide information to help caregivers understand their journey and offer support to care for their loved ones. Davis’ plays bring to light health issues and concerns facing communities of color in the hope of raising awareness and creating change. This production will be customized and tailored to include information and resources that families can utilize in Southeastern WI. There will be an intermission panel discussion with caregivers\, providers\, and community partners to give attendees tips and tools to assist them on their caregiving journey. \nThis event is presented by Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Institute – UW Madison\, an independent organization separate from the Marcus Performing Arts Center.
