DESCRIPTION:Free Event\nBrass Queens is a female-led brass band based in New York City\, known for shaking up the traditionally male-dominated brass scene since their debut in 2019. Known for their energetic street performances and dynamic stage shows\, they’ve earned a reputation as “the hardest working band in town.” Their sound blends New Orleans brass tradition with NYC flair\, delivering party-ready sets of pop\, reggaeton\, and jazz.  \nCo-founded by Alex Harris and Ally Chapel\, the band tours nationally and internationally\, with appearances at top festivals like Ottawa Jazz Festival and Exit Zero\, and high-profile gigs including The Met Gala and Good Morning America. Notable clients include Chanel\, Facebook\, and Tiffany & Co. Their discography includes Royal Street (EP)\, Black & Gold\, and their all-original album Hot Tub Sessions Vol. I.
