Family Nights At the Center

Family Nights At the Center

As part of our continued commitment to engage our communities and diversify our audiences, the Center has offered a program called Family Nights at the Center, since 2010.

This outreach program engages underserved families in targeted neighborhoods to attend theatre together at least twice throughout the Broadway Season. These experiences include orchestra level seating for the show, a post-performance reception and an opportunity to meet the cast & crew of the show.

How to Participate in the Program

Through this program, we select a community-based organization that assists us in inviting families from their specific neighborhoods to participate. Some of our past participants include:

  •     Boys And Girls Club of Milwaukee
  •     Coalition for Youth, Children and Families
  •     Hmong American Friendship Association
  •     Dominican Center for Women
  •     Hmong American Peace Academy
  •     Journey House
  •     The Burmese Immersion Project
  •     Latino Community Center
  •     United Community Center

The 2018 select community based organization was:

Boys And Girls Club of Milwaukee

Over 100 guests of families from this organization joined us this season for both Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas the Musical!
