Part-Time Sales Associate - Morning Glory Gallery

The Morning Glory Gallery, inside the lobby of the Marcus Performing Arts Center in downtown Milwaukee, seeks a part-time paid sales associate.

We are looking for an energetic, self-starter who loves the arts and enjoys talking with a variety of people. Work 15-24 varied hours per month, primarily nights and weekends: make sales, keep gallery well stocked, check in and price new work, and balance daily sales report.

If you have some retail experience and love the arts, this job is for you! Work in the world-class Marcus Center surrounded by beautiful art and like-minded professionals! Must work at least 2 Saturdays per month 12-6 p.m. and some Friday and Saturday nights, plus be able to manage volunteer staff.

Parking Attendant

The Marcus Performing Arts Center is currently accepting applications for the position of part-time Parking Attendant.

Parking Attendant Tasks:

  • Staff parking gates during performance hours and for daily parkers during all hours of operation.
  • Assist parking patrons and direct them to available parking stalls, keep vehicles moving as safely and as fast as possible.
  • Close booth and balance your drawer as your shift ends.
  • Assist patrons who are having difficulty with the auto payment system.
  • Assist in traffic control as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervise

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a sometimes hectic environment with changing priorities.

Scheduling/Availability Requirements:

  • We are currently seeking new employees to cover evening and weekend shifts. Employee availability must include weekend availability. Actual scheduled hours will vary from week to week depending on need. Employees are typically scheduled for 10-20 hours per week.
