Load-In
Area
The loading
dock for the Marcus Center is located on
State Street, just west of Water Street,
at the intersection of Edison Street and
State Street. Usual hours of operation for
the loading dock are between 9:00a.m.- 5:00p.m.,
Monday through Friday. Access to the loading
dock at any other time must be scheduled
in advance through the Marcus Center's Technical
Director.
The loading
dock is located stage level and is directly
off stage left. The dock consists of two
loading bays allowing for two trucks to
be loaded simultaneously.
The dock
has two overhead coiling doors, sized: 9'
x 10'-4". Each bay is equipped with
a hydraulic dock leveler to accommodate
different height trucks from 2'-4"
to 4'-4". Level dock height is 40".
Leveler capacity is 20,000 lbs. A 48' trailer
engaged to the dock will incur a 2 % grade.
The dock
is located approximately 30' from the upstage
left opening to the stage. The dock way
is 12' wide by 12' high, with a left turn
through an overhead coiling door 10' x 12'
in size to the stage. See loading dock drawing

Trucks will
not be allowed to stay in the dock area
once trucks are unloaded.
THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
Trucks may
park on the street only prior to unloading
and loading. On site long term parking is
not available near the Marcus Center and
must be found elsewhere.
