Since 1969 when the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts opened its doors, we have been proud to be considered part of the Milwaukee County’s War Memorial honoring those who have bravely served our country.
As part of our continued commitment to honor veterans for their heroic service, we will host the Flag Day Celebration each year on the Peck Pavilion Stage. The program includes a Presentation of Colors, Invocation, Moment of Silence & POW Respect, a Keynote Speaker and more. There are also community resource booths available with various information and entertainment.
We hope you’ll join us as we “Honor the Dead by Serving the Living” at this very special tribute to the men and women of our military.
This community event is free and open to the public; no tickets or advanced reservations are needed for attendees. If you are interested in having a community resource booth at the Celebration, please contact Bridgett Gonzalez at firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain the necessary reservation forms. Note — there will be food and beverages available for purchase from our on-site catering partner, Sazama’s Fine Catering.
