7:00 P.M. - Concert

Horns a Plenty Christmas will be performing at the Uihlein Hall (same place the Milwaukee Symphony plays) on Dec. 2.

The guest soloist for this Horns a Plenty Christmas will be Cynthia Carr (current Professor of Horn, Ball State University, former Professor of Horn, Lawrence University)

The Marcus Center is excited to present a free holiday horn concert as a gift to the community.

Hornsaplenty and guests will be performing as part of the Marcus Center’s 40th Anniversary year long celebration.

Hornsaplenty is a horn group from Appleton, Wisconsin and is made up of Wisconsin musicians. The group is working towards setting a record for the Guiness Book of Records by attracting a 100 brass players to one stage.

This unique event will create holiday fun with classic songs in Uihlein Hall.

Besides Hornsaplenty players, MSO horns will be performing their own arrangement of holiday music along with Hornucopia of Milwaukee playing their own holiday selection.

Hornsaplenty will be conducted by Brian Groner, Matt di Pietro and Don Krause. A master class will be held with Cynthia Carr at 4:00 pm in the Marcus Center’s Rehearsal Hall on December 2 and also a free event.

Hornsaplenty is on Wednesday, December 2 at 7pm. Doors open at 6:45 pm and tickets are not necessary.
