The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts is committed to serving the community. We are proud to offer a wide range of programs to reach young people, teachers, and families throughout the Greater Milwaukee area.
Live at the Center
- Kidz Days
- Traditionally held on the Marcus Center outdoor grounds Tuesday’s and Thursday’s during the summer months Kidz Days features a variety of educational and entertainment programs for children.
Ambassador Program
- In 2005 we initiated an Ambassador Program to increase the number of ongoing diverse patrons to all Marcus Center performances. With this exciting program, selected individuals in the community bring up to two individuals who have never attended a performance previously at the Marcus Center to a show here.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Birthday Celebration
- Always taking place in the month of January, this event focuses on keeping the legacy Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. alive. This January marks the 24th year the Marcus Center has hosted this public event. Programming highlights the youth in our community who every year interpret Dr. King’s words through an art, speech and writing contest. In addition, various cultural arts organizations take center stage in our pre-program performance truly demonstrating the excellence of our arts community.
